It is my opinion that the greatest principle humankind could share is the principle of love as taught be Jesus Christ in the Christian Bible.

Love originates from God, for God's character is ultimately loving.

When we reject God, love is no longer possible as selfishness is the only thing that is left in the human psyche/spirit/nature.

God empowers humanity to love each other as we would love ourselves - putting the interests of others on a par with, or even higher than our own interests.

As the Bible states, this principle is considered to be foolishness to those who do not know God, but those who have experienced the powerful love of God, know that love is the only logical, sane principle by which all people on earth can live peaceably and in harmony and happiness together.

Force is not love; it is in fact one of the actions that arise from the principle of selfishness.

That is my opinion. Thanks for dropping by our forum.
