Animal Sacrifices In The Middle East, Using Australian Live Export Animals

This is pretty horrible to the sheep, but I can't see how it is any different from what the Jews were supposedly ordered by God to do in the sacrificial system in the Torah. (No slaughter scenes are in this particular video, but there are plenty around if you want to get a real look at what the poor sheep/goats can't escape).

It is too horrendous. I just keep thinking that the poor sheep/goats don't have the luxury of escape that we have when we elect to turn away our eyes because we can't cope with the horror of the cruelty and pain that really happens in a ritual sacrifice. The poor little sheep and goats.

Does this system of sacrificing innocent animals (and doing so in such in a violent way, without anaesthetic), draw you closer to God? It turns my stomach and I do not for one moment believe that the One True God instigated such rituals. Consider this please: If the One True God did instigate such rituals, then He is not different from the other gods of the world's religions. Wouldn't it be logical to believe that the One True God and His enemies are opposite in character?
