Dear brothers
I’ am in need of your prayers.
This week my family and I went to visit some brothers in the nearby city. When we return back our home was in smoke. That morning before our departure our son David has forgotten to turn off the electric blanket. His bed is completely burnt down. All of the rooms were in smoke, and many of our belongings were damaged (books, DVD’s etc…). We could managed to save many of the things, but also many are lost.
Although this was a very bad experience, there is still something good in it. I have had a plan for a long time to move to a village in the mountains, but my wife did not agree with me. Since this experience she is shore that she has received a sign from God, and that we have to take that step. She has prayed to God for a months to show her His will for our future. Few days before this incident happened she had a dream in which she saw our house in flames. This was an obvious fulfillment of her dream. Right after the incident she sad to me: “Dejan, this is a sign. We have to move to the mountains.”
We already have found a good house but we lack money.
Please pray for us. If God wants us to do that step He will open a way for that. If not the very house that we have in plan, than some other. His way is always the best.

Thank you in advance

Dejan

Hi Dejan
What an amazing experience.  Thank you for sharing it with us.  I'm so glad that, although you lost material things, all your children and your wife and you are unhurt.  Still it must be very traumatic to lose your house and personal items and it is only natural that you would be feeling very traumatised by that experience.  Do you have any photos of the house that can be posted on this website?

May God be your strength,
Sherlene

Note:
If anyone wants to donate money to help Dejan and his wife relocate, I am happy to set up a fund and pass the money onto them.

To donate to Dejan and his wife's relocation fund, please leave a message/comment on this forum and I will publish details of bank account when anyone replies.  This will have to be a separate bank account than that which we use for the MFC orphans' donations.

Thank you so much.

I feel greatly for you in this time of need, but I have lingering question why would our God who is and will always be a God of love and understanding attempt to burn your home down just to get you to move somewhere else, to me there something wrong with that picture, I personally think you should hold back and see what happens if you don't move out..
God loves us all with an unselfish heart
