Here is something interesting to read
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 (King James Version)

 3.Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4.Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

And here is what the prime minister of England is going to talk about at Copenhagen

Gordon Brown: Hurricanes, Floods, Typhoons, Droughts Are All Acts Of Man
Copenhagen climate conference: Britain ‘could make biggest emissions cuts’

James Kirkup, and Louise Gray
London Telegraph
Thursday, December 17, 2009

Mr Brown will today tell the Copenhagen summit that the potential risks of unchecked global warming are so great that emissions must be cut, even if it means some sacrifices.

Brown last night insisted that Britain will not be alone in making big cuts, claiming that others are privately preparing similarly large moves.
He will say: “Hurricanes, flood, typhoon and droughts we have from time immemorial thought of as the invisible acts of God we can see clearly now as the visible acts of man.

He will add: “The task of politics is to overcome obstacles even when people say they cannot be surmounted. The task of statesmanship is to make the desirable possible, and make ideals real even when critics tell you they are inevitable dreams.

(This is a comment from a reader on prison planet about all this)
Gordon Brown is taking acts of God as man-made events: “invisible acts of God we can see clearly now as the visible acts of man”.
So he thinks, those who thought that the acts of God (Hurricanes, flood, typhoon and droughts) are morons, because “we can see clearly now as the visible acts of man”.
So it wasn’t God’s doing (he says); he says Man did it. Is he implying that Man is in control, and that Man is now above the hand of God himself?
Is Gordon Brown taking credit (exalting himself) over everything that is called God?
How much closer are we to Gordon proclaiming himself to be God?!?!?!?

I agree with Gordon Brown that God didn't and doesn't send 'natural disasters on humanity.  These disasters are caused by the wrecking of God's perfect creation.  Satan also contributes to stir up men and women to destroy the earth, but in far more insidious ways than by the greenhouse effect.  HAARP, chemtrails, fluoridated drinking water, cloning of animals, etc....  Human beings are doing a very efficient job of destroying the earth without any help from God.  God wants to save the world, not destroy it.  In fact, it is prophesied that God will have to recreate the earth because its human caretakers have done such a thorough job of destroying it prior to the second coming of Jesus.  Jesus comes to save those who are looking at imminent destruction - not to destroy the earth or those humans whom He created.   What do you think?
