The following is an email I received (carbon copied) as sent to a sponsor of two of the young ladies at Maranatha Family Orphanage. The sponsor will no doubt appreciate any assistance we can possibly give to enable her sponsored child Millicent to continue her specialised education as a nurse. Millicent studied hard at her school work and passed her examinations so well that she has been given the wonderful opportunity to continue her studies and become a registered nurse in Kenya. Tragically, if Millicent is unable to pay her education tuition fees, she will not be permitted to continue her training and she will not be able to earn a decent living and escape the poverty cycle. If you are able to help Millicent by contributing even a small amount toward her school fees, please do so as soon as possible. This is very important to the whole orphange, not just to one orphaned child.
Also, another sponsored young lady who was raised at MFO, Juliet, also requires urgent assistance to enroll in the Charles Lwanga Ichuni Girls High Government School. Juliet has done extremely well in her exams; if she had not been so successful in her exams, she would not have been offered the position to attend the High School. If you can help educate Juliet by contributing to her High School tuition fees, please do it now as the need is great.
Thank you, Sherlene
