Greetings to you and your families in the name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
Kenya Food Crisis
Kenya is currently in the throes of its worst drought in six decade. Millions are staring at imminent starvation and death.
The situation has been exacerbated by runaway inflation, a poor maize crop for the current season and a ballooning refugee crisis in ever unstable Somalia, Kenya’s northern neighbor.
There is no food, no help, kids are dying left and right; there is literally nothing to eat here. The children and the elderly are the most serious victims of this Crisis. Please if anyone can help to reverse this suffering in children and the elderly, the most affected group. It will be very much appreciated.
All school children are now on holiday and will open again on 5th August, Millicent one of our orphaned girls excelled in her high school exams and will be joining university in March 2012 to study medicine, the fee is high, but we are praying for every provision from above.
